 Greetings and welcome to Edu @ RCF.
This web page is devoted to our Educational goals. Educating the youth exists as one of our primary goals, so expect lots of changes as we go along.
2004 marks a new year and new projects.
Last year we trained over 150 kids in Media with tools such as camera, sound, 4 camera directing, and graphics. We train at live events. Training during live events facilitates gaining real world experience in video production as well as enabling the young people to get a feel for a job in action. This allows young people to get their feet wet without being overly committed to a specific goal in life. Youths get the benefit of working with the job and seeing if it fits their respective goals. Typically we train voluntary young men and women at their locally sponsored activity. This enable the volunteers to feel comfortable at the site location as they are quite familiar with the local church, theater or assembly hall. Royal Crown is working with them to create some unique programs that well be piloted this summer.
The Goal is to teach the history of the Jewish People and their relationship to our American Christian roots.
To hopefully train up children with the understanding of cultural differences between Jewish lives today in Israel and children in the church today in America. With this hope that through education, the cultural fears and Anti-Semitic views in the church would disappear.
